Hi y'all!
It has been a while since I posted here. Been really busy that I hardly go online. I'm all psyched up that I'm leaving next Saturday, July 5th, to go to Texas and from there, probably on the 10th of July we'll be leaving for Panama!
Last Wednesday night, I get to meet a sister in Christ. She just came here from the Philippines. She's being sponsored by the hospital that I work for. She worked in Saudi Arabia for 5 years as a nurse.
Her youngest sister was the first to become a Christian. Her sister shared to her about the love of Jesus but she didn't listen. Still her sister kept telling her about God's love even if she's very hard on her. She wouldn't allow her sister to go to church that she would lock her in a cabinet. The seed of faith had been planted into her heart, though, that when she started working to Saudi, a country that is hostile towards Christians, her faith in Christ grew and she finally gave her heart to Jesus.
Yes it's true, Saudi Arabia is hostile towards the Christians. It's a Muslim country that it does not allow people to bear a Bible or any Christian materials. If the Saudi police find you with Christian materials, they will put you in jail.
That sister in Christ that I met left her Bible in Saudi because our brothers and sisters in Christ there don't have enough Bible, it is so hard to smuggle a Bible in there so now she doesn't have a Bible at all. We have extra Bible here so I'll give her one. She want's to send some materials to her churchmates too in Saudi. I have some books that I can give to her to send them.
In Saudi, Worship Service is not allowed, so they just meet secretly at one of the brethren's house. They will call it a party so the Saudis won't know.
OK, imagine They don't have religious freedom there yet the Christians there are so eager to serve God even if it may cost them their lives, but what about us here? We have freedom to gather and worship yet it's so hard for us to get up on Sunday mornings (but we don't wanna be late for work), we have every Christian material and every version of the Bible but we hardly read them (we watch TV and go to the movies instead).
What would it take for us to give our all to God? Let us not let them take our freedom before we do that. We don't have to learn the hard way.
God Bless!
What's up with me?
Well, just want to speak out what's on my mind, or what's been going on with me. Well, yes, I'm under construction. From glory to glory He changes me!
