My right leg is hurting, I had to use a walker. It's a little better now, though.
I am currently reading The Missions Addiction by David Shibley. Read it, it's awesome! Let me share one of the so many insights that I have learned:
Paul (the apostle) burned for Christ's honor, and he was completely convinced that his message would take a hold and have a transforming, even explosive, effect on the hearers.
Cool, right?
But wait, "The American church often seems adrift with no place to land and no rock on which to anchor. Look at the shift of focus. No longer is the object God, or even others. The new center of attraction is self! Many today are completely unmoved by the fate of the unconverted and wholly disinterested in God's purposes for their generation. Yet the same Christians who yawn with boredom when evangelism or missions are mentioned are often heated in their denunciations against society's sins." David said.
Sad but true!
David again said and I quote, "Hey, don't we get it? Lost people are just acting - lost! Unsaved people are just acting - unsaved! If we truly want to see the social order redeemed and morality restored, we had better get back to seeing people redeemed and restored."
We need to have the passion to see the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) fulfilled. We need to have compassion for the billions of people who are without hope, who are without God!
Will you do your part?
What's up with me?
Well, just want to speak out what's on my mind, or what's been going on with me. Well, yes, I'm under construction. From glory to glory He changes me!
