The Martus, our youth group had a zone meeting. It was cool. We had praise & worship, of course. It's so awesome to worship God along with your brothers & sisters in Christ. The message was about the body of Christ. How God wants to see us united, loving each other as He has loved us. With that, people will know that we are His disciples if we love one another. After the message, it was so awesome too see the students crying, hugging each other saying, "I'm sorry." I talked to two girls, they don't quite hang out with the rest of the group, I don't know what they are going through but we prayed, we were crying, I said to them if they are ready to talk to us (youth leaders), we are more than happy to listen to them. I reminded them that they are sooo loved by God, they are the daughters of the King of kings. They are princesses!

I am God's princess too! :D

I was just watching The Factor, yes, Bill O'Reilly is back, woohooo!! Did you know that Jacksonville, FL is the # 1 city that watches The Factor? I guess it's because of me:p I guess I'm the #1 fan!! Heh heh :p. Ok, I'm gonna watch Sean Hannity. Forget Colmes..heh heh. Ooopss, sorry. I'm sure Allan Colmes is a nice guy, except for his left-wing views. :p

Who was able to watch The Oscar's? Did you see Michael Moore giving his anti-American speech? He's sooo narrow-minded. Oh, Hollywood. From now own, I'm gonna boycott the movies with the actors or writters that do not represent my values. I should have done it long time ago. I'm so proud of Tom Hanks, my favorite actor, for not attending the Oscar's. Nicole Kidman felt guilty about being there.

We need more Pro-Family Movies in Hollywood. Sign a petition supporting this idea. Sign another petition showing that you stand against the celebrity "pundits".

I got a call yesterday from my Teen Mania representative, I got accepted as a Missionary Advisor for the Hongkong B Trip! Yay!! I'm so excited and I just can't hide it! I can't wait 'til I go to Garden Valley, TX for training & fly to Hongkong from there, wooohooo!! I have one concern, though, the SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome). They found some cases in Hongkong but I'm confident that the Global Expeditions will not put us in harms way, and of course God is with us! If we have to go to another country instead, so be it, but Hongkong is my first choice. Well, I'll go where God will send me!

Now you have the opportunity to pray for me. Pray that I will be able to raise the funds that I'm gonna need for this trip. Pray for good health. Pray for my continuous spiritual growth. How are you all doing? I'm doing pretty good. I had a great weekend. I attended the TrueNorth Seminar in Tampa, leadership training seminar held by Teen Mania Ministries. I learned a lot. I learned Captaining, it defines the end goal, drives the process, and delivers the team to their final destination successfully. Coaching, is turning potential into performance. Let me quote Vince Lombardi, "My job as a coach is not to win games, it is to cause men to do the things they do not want to do so that they will become the men thay have always wanted to be." I couldn't agree with him more!

We had team building games and it was cool. After the activities, we were asked what could we have done to have a better result. We also had role playing, we all played to role of a leader, in rotation that is. We also reflected on it. What we could have done better on certain situations, what we could have said.

We also learned about public speaking and we had to do a 2 min. speech. It was nerve wrecking! And we were interviewed too. I think I did ok, just ok... *sighs*

And of course we had praise & worship! Guess what the song was. Here I Am To Worship! :D

Our faciliatator, the Project Director, she was such an encouragement. She told me that I can go to the next level of leadership, I just need to push myself a little more. I also need to surround myself with my leaders and let them pour out their self to me. "You are right on the edge! You can do it!" That's what she said. Yes I can do it! I believe! I'll do what she told me. I thank God for people like her!

I was watching Jay Leno last night, my favorite TV personality, Bill O'Reilly was there :D Cool huh? He was asked if he was to interview Saddam Hussein, would he kill him? He said, yes. I think I would too... heh heh :p

Ban on Partial Birth Abortion

Good news!

The Senate voted overwhelmingly Thursday to ban a procedure that critics call partial birth abortion, a triumph for President Bush and the Republicans who took control of Congress this year.

The 65-32 vote sent the legislation to the GOP-controlled House, where passage is expected this spring.

"Partial-birth abortion is an abhorrent procedure that offends human dignity, and I commend the Senate for passing legislation to ban it," Bush said in a prepared statement. "Today's action is an important step toward building a culture of life in America."

It's March! Oh how the days go by, so fast! I went to the youth leaders' luncheon this morning, our youth pastor and his wife couldn't go so they asked me to. It's the preview of the next year's Dare 2 Share Conference it is called BattleZone. I think it is gonna be good! More new challenging skits, movie clips, music, and of course the application of what we will learn, reaching out to the community.

Oh, last friday we had our zone meeting here in our house. We had a good time and of course a powerful message, "How to hold your tounge!" and we had praise and worship too.

Saturday was Sunday School Teacher's Conference. Learned cool ideas on how to communicate with kids and we enjoyed the action songs :D and the food :p and of course the fellowship with other believers in Christ :)

Sunday, hang out at a churchmate's house in the afternoon, we had a goodtime, we were laughing and we enjoyed banana split :p We watched movies, we watched A Walk to Remember, our ever favorite, and we watched a freaky movie, Final Destination.

That's the update for now, I'll be working this afternoon... *sighs*
