63% of our churched youth don't believe Jesus is the Son of the one true God.
58% believe all faiths teach equally valid truths.
68% don't believe the Holy Spirit is a real entity.
70% don't believe an absolute moral truth exists.


And why do these beliefs matter? Those with such distorted views are:

200% more likely to physically hurt someone.
216% more likely to be resentful.
300% more likely to use illegal drugs.
600% more likely to attempt suicide.

Calling all Parents and Youth Ministers!

The statistics is staggering! We must do something about it!

Truth without Relationship leads to Rejection.
Rules without Relationship leads to Rebellion.

Parents say: "If it is true it will work."
Teens say: "If it works it is true."

Teens look for Authenticity. We need to step into their world. We need to let them know they are loved unconditionally. Show and Tell.

Judging by the result, I'll end up marrying a missionary if I choose to marry. LoL

Yesterday we had Bible study, preparing for the realities of life, inevitable or not. Getting old is inevitable, sickness is somewhat inevitable, death is inevitable, getting married is NOT inevitable.

Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it." Matthew 10:11, 12

I dunno what the future holds but the important thing is I know who holds the future.

Acquire The Fire is gonna be here again! They were here in 2002.

Acquire The Fire is a weekend Youth conference. They will have it on selected cities here and in Canada. This year's theme is The Power Of One.

Ron Luce is the founder of the event and he will be joined by Josh McDowell so this is gonna be an awesome event! Delirious? and Seven Places will be the guests and they will probably lead the worship too.

Good day!

Let me see, what did I do this past week? I spent some time with me co-youth leaders, spending our last few hours with kuya Wil. He will be leaving for Guam soon joining his family who went ahead of him. We will miss him :( He was the one who first talked to us when we first attended the service at Christ is the Answer, our home church.

What else happened? Oh, yeah, my sister and I watched LOTR The Return of the King last night. It was an awesome movie! You all gotta see it!

Happy Christmas and Merry New Year!

My holidays were good, could be better I think. I worked most of the time, that's why. Last night, I was expecting to see the fireworks at work. I thought I was gonna be working on the floor but, no, there was a lot of call ins, and they needed to pull two of us out to work the monitors (monitor ekgs on telemetry units), so I watched the heart rhythms of the patients instead of the fireworks. :(. Oh, well.

I'm expecting this year to be better and exciting for me. I can't wait! God has the best things in store for me. I'm gonna be walking and working with Him all the more. I want Him to be the center of my life! Oh yeah, I'm starting this year debt free, no more credit cards, woohoo!! And my car payment is almost over! I'll be more ready for fulltime missions...weeeeeee!! Isn't that exciting?? :D

My prayer for you all is that you too will be in the center of His will. I pray good health, financial blessings, good relationships, and all the best that God has for your life!
